Our hands were trained at Ngara Market in Nairobi, starting in 2018 — around twenty heads a day, which teaches you things no classroom can. Since then we’ve studied under loc masters including Kris McDread.
Milly, our founder, has done hair for more than thirty years — she is the reason any of this exists. These days we work out of one suite in Arlington, and locs are the only thing we do.
