We’re a mother-and-daughters studio with Kenyan roots, over 40 years of combined experience, and hands trained where it counted — high-volume salon work in Nairobi, where you learn to be fast, gentle, and precise all at once. Our clients fall asleep in our chairs. We take that as the highest compliment there is.

Why locs?

Because we kept noticing something. The women with locs had length — real, visible length. Meanwhile the rest of us were blow-drying until our scalps hurt, watching it shrink right back an hour later. Reaching for texturizers just to make our own hair manageable, then watching it break from the chemicals. Knowing our hair was growing and never getting to see it.

Locs ended that. Nothing gets combed out, nothing snaps off. The length that was always yours finally gets to stay.

They’re also freedom. Spritz a little water, walk out the door, get your morning back — which matters more than anything for clients working long weeks and night shifts.

That’s the whole philosophy: protect what’s already yours.
